A LiDAR scan is the most spatially accurate capture Liivra offers. It uses the depth sensor on a compatible iPhone to measure the space, not just photograph it.
What makes it different
- It captures real depth and dimensions, using Apple's RoomPlan on the iPhone's LiDAR sensor.
- The result is a precise spatial model of the property — ideal where accuracy matters as much as looks.
What you need
- A LiDAR-equipped iPhone Pro — this capture is iOS Pro only. On other devices, use a 360° tour or a 3D Dollhouse instead.
- Good lighting and clear floors, as with any capture.
Cost and next steps
- R199 per scan, paid through the Liivra payment gate (ZAR, VAT-inclusive).
- Capture with the guided flow, then review and approve before it publishes.
When to choose LiDAR
Pick LiDAR for high-value listings where a precise, depth-accurate model adds real credibility. For most properties, a 360° tour or 3D Dollhouse gives an excellent immersive experience at a lower price — compare them in the virtual tours overview.
