Your lease
A real, signable lease PDF generated from the agreed terms — tamper-evident and ECTA-bound.

When an application is accepted, Liivra generates the lease — a real, formatted PDF document, not a summary screen.
A genuine document
- The lease is produced as a proper PDF from the agreed terms — parties, property, rent, deposit, dates, and conditions.
- Each generated lease is stamped with a SHA-256 hash, so the exact document is tamper-evident: any later change is detectable, and both sides can trust the copy they hold is the copy that was agreed.
Signing it
Unlike a sale agreement, a residential lease can be signed electronically under South African law (ECTA) — so the lease is binding once properly signed by both parties. For teams that want a managed signing workflow, DocuSeal e-signature is available as an option; otherwise the PDF can be signed in the usual way.
Keeping it
- Both the tenant and the landlord keep a copy of the final PDF.
- Because it's hash-stamped, the stored document is verifiable later — useful if a term is ever disputed.
What comes next
With the lease in place, the deposit is handled through Liivra Pay — held in a registered trust account and released per the agreement — so move-in starts on a clean, documented footing.
